The process forms part of the annual survey checking the structure integrity and safety.
Supplying air to the pneumatically driven hose deployment and recovery spooler. The hose spooler contained a high pressure watering hose. The HPWJ supply was delivered to a 'jetting / cleaning' nozzle mounted on the subsea ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle). The ROV, controlled from the surface, was carrying out general visual inspection of the platform subsea structure, periodically removing marine growth and checking for visual signs of fracture or stress to the structure.
