The premier upstream oil and gas event drew more than 49,000 attendees, 20% more than the previously record-breaking 2007 exhibition, and featured more than 1,500 exhibiting companies from around the world. This included 330 companies participating at the show for the first time. This is the second largest international show on the Oil & Gas calendar.
 
Atlas Copco Kolfor yet again successfully exhibited at this event, occupying a prime site location adjacent to the visitor registration and entry hall.
 
John Spink, General Manager at AC Kolfor stated "Over the past 20 years, this premier event has consistently shown to bring value to our business, the significance here is that the visitors include many of our established key oil and gas accounts, whilst also bringing new enquirers and highlighting to the market our innovative products and services".
 
We were particularly pleased to welcome to our stand the Scottish First Minister, Rt Hon Alex Salmond MSP (seen here with Karen Matthew and Kenneth Stewart).  Mr Salmond enquired as to what services we provide and our view on the market conditions.  Before leaving he passed on his good wishes to all Atlas Copco personnel for a prosperous event.
 
This year we promoted the successful introduction of our Nitrogen Air Boosters,  Nitrogen Membrane Units for Rental and the upcoming release of the Specialty Rental new Zone II packaged compressor.
